National Health Center Week - August 13 - 19th is designed to recognize the service and contributions of health centers in providing care to the underserved people in the U.S.
Southeast will be celebrating spirit week. 


 

Women infants and children

WIC (Women, Infants & Children Program) is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children (under 5 years old). WIC provides nutritious foods, nutrition information, breastfeeding promotion, breastfeeding support and referrals to other health and social services. The foods provided may include: infant formula and cereal, adult cereals low in sugar and high in iron, milk (and lactose-reduced milk), cheese, juice, eggs, peanut butter or dried beans/peas, carrots, and canned tuna.
