Lucy Rena’ Mikell brings 8 years of expertise to Southeast Community Health Systems as a nurse practitioner and over a decade in nursing. In the realm of nonprofits, her area of responsibility spans from helping in her church and community and aiding for battered women shelters, and in public health and long-term health facilities.

As a nurse practitioner, Lucy works closely to improve quality care, advocate for her patients' needs, and treat chronic disease in the community. Prior to joining Southeast Community Health Systems, Lucy held positions at Neurocare of the South as neurology nurse practitioner, practitioner in family clinics in Pike County, MS, and internal medicine at North Oaks in Hammond. She also spent 8 years in med-surg and labor and delivery nursing at Baptist Medical Center and Southwest Regional Medical Center in MS.

During her free time Lucy likes to spend time with her husband and 3 children. Also, she loves taking them to all their sports and extracurricular activities. She enjoys journaling, bible study, and fashion.
